Comment about Salman Khan's dress code rule has been misunderstood, says Palak Tiwari
text_fieldsMumbai: Newly launched Bollywood actress Palak Tiwari said that her comments about Salman Khan's dress code rules for women on the set were "misunderstood". She is debuting in Salman Khan's upcoming film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan.
Earlier this week, she said that Salman Khan has one rule for all female members of the film on the sets and that is to "be covered like good, proper girls". During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, she said, "When I was AD-ing with Salman sir on Antim, Salman sir had a rule: 'every girl on my set, the neckline should be here, all the girls should be covered, like good proper girls."
Speaking to ETimes, she clarified that her words were misunderstood. "All I wanted to say is that I have put certain guidelines for myself as to how to dress around people who are way senior to me, who have I pretty much grown up idolising. Salman sir is, of course, one of them."
Palak Tiwari is the daughter of actress Shweta Tiwari. She went viral in 2021 for starring in the music video Bijli Bijli. She is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan, co-starring Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Shenaaz Gill, and Raghav Juyal.
