Mumbai: Kamaldeep Kaur is a homemaker who is carving her own space in MasterChef India with her homemade recipes. The contestant recently talked about starting her journey from cooking at home and taking it up professionally.

After successfully getting through auditions, she has now been selected as one of the 36 contestants being judged by celebrity chefs Ranveer Brar, Vikas Khanna, and Garima Arora. She is elated to be on the show and thinks it is not easy to prove herself among so many other home cooks.

"It feels great to be able to enter the show finally. I was looking forward to being a part of MasterChef India and now that I finally am, it feels surreal. Amongst so many other home cooks, it does feel nerve-wracking that you have to prove your worth of continuing in the show through what you put on the plate in front of the judges. I just hope that I will be able to impress the chefs with my creativity and my hard work," said Kamaldeep.

MasterChef India is an Indian Hindi-language competitive cooking reality show based on MasterChef Australia. The seventh season of the show started airing on SET and SonyLIV on 2 January.
