Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan's new film 'Jawan' directed by Atlee Kumar has stormed into the Rs 600 crore club worldwide within only six days of its release.

Despite the critical India vs Pakistan Asia Cup match on Monday, the film maintained a strong grip on the box office and on Tuesday, amassed approximately Rs 24-25 crores in Hindi and an additional Rs 2 crores in other languages. A total of Rs 26.50 crores were reported yesterday.

The Hindi version of the film alone has surpassed Rs 300 crores in a week. And dubbed versions contributed to an overall collection of over Rs 340 crores.

Jawan is setting sights on the Rs 1,000 crores club, making it SRK's second film this year after Pathaan to achieve this feat. With no significant competition in the coming weeks and strong advance bookings, the film is well-positioned to target all-time lifetime records.

Jawan has not only dominated the Indian box office but has also made history in Germany. It became the first Indian film to dominate the German box office on Monday with EUR 97,000 and outshining Hollywood release The Equalizer 3 which earned EUR 93,000.

The SRK film entered the German market at number three with an opening day record for Indian films with a box office collection of EUR 147,000. The film's success continued on Friday with EUR 150,000.

The film's German distributor Kannada Talkies played a crucial role and the European country has seen significant growth in recent years for Indian films.

The cumulative earnings of Jawan in Germany have now reached an impressive EUR 419,000. This mirrors the film's success in Australia, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, the Middle East, and other major markets.

In Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan plays a vigilante who leads a group of six women who want to fix the social injustices in the country. Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, and Girija Oak play major roles of vigilante women. Nayanthara plays the female lead. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt make cameo appearances. Vijay Sethupathi plays villain Kaalie Gaikwad, an arms dealer.

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Sanya Malhotra expressed her excitement about working with King Khan. She described the experience as a "dream come true" and highlighted Shah Rukh Khan's guidance in improving her performance. The actress praised Shah Rukh Khan for helping her with a particular scene, emphasising that he is an institution and a true superstar. She acknowledged the invaluable learning experience she gained from him, both in acting and in his conduct with people.

When asked about the possibility of a sequel, she shared her hopes for an extended version of Jawan, expressing her eagerness to be a part of any future projects related to the film.

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who recently watched Jawan, showered praises on the film, commending Shah Rukh Khan's performance. He described "Jawan" as "blockbuster stuff" and expressed how much fun he had watching the film, comparing it to being a kid in a candy store.

Filmmakers Shekhar Kapur and Madhur Bhandarkar also shared their reactions to Jawan. Shekhar Kapur watched the film in London and conveyed an enthusiastic fan's reaction, highlighting the overwhelming response to Shah Rukh Khan on screen. Madhur Bhandarkar watched the film in Norway and praised its edge-of-the-seat thriller elements, Shah Rukh Khan's acting prowess, and director Atlee's brilliance.
