Kareena Kapoor to become producer, Starts working on debut project

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is turning producer and has started working on her debut project. While other details are still under wraps, director Hansal Mehta is her colleague for the production.
She shared an image on her Instagram story which showed a film script with Hansal Mehta's name in the director's credit. Films name is being hidden at the moment and the only visible words were 'the' and 'murder'. Mehta is known for films like Dus Kahaniyaan, Raakh, CityLights, and Shahid.
The actress announced in August 2021 that she will be donning the producer's hat soon in a collaboration with Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms.
Kareena Kapoor just experienced a box office failure with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha. The actress is working on Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming thriller based on the Japanese book 'The Devotion of Suspect X'. She will be seen with 'Paatal Lok' actor Jaideep Ahlawat and 'Darlings' fame Vijay Varma.
In recent years, Kareena has been experimenting with her acting career by starring in movies like Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, Talaash, Ki & Ka, and Veere Di Wedding.
