In a press meet held on Monday, Malayalam actress Manju Warrier revealed that her first Bollywood project has gone on floors. The film, titled 'Ameriki Pundit', also stars Tamil-Hindi actor R.Madhavan in the leading role.
'Ameriki Pundit' is to be directed by newcomer Kalpesh. Additional details about the film are yet to be revealed but reports suggest that the shooting of the film has already commenced in Bhopal with Manju to join the set shortly.
It is speculated that the film may be a remake of the 2019 released, Malayalam movie "Prathi Poovankozhi' starring Manju Warrier and Roshan Andrrews although no confirmation has been received yet.
