My son has not killed me: TV actress Veena Kapoor spurns 'murder story'

New Delhi: A twist in the horrific murder of popular actress Veena Kapoor says that she is alive, as she is not killed by her son, Sachin Kapoor.
Fans took to social media a few days ago to express grief after reports said she was killed in Mumbai over a property dispute.
Now the actress has come out to testify she is alive alongside lodging a complaint with the police.
The TV actress received calls and message from people expressing shock and grief at the death.
They were not in for the twist at the time because reports appeared to be true.
Veena Kapoor alerted the police on Wednesday after the news broke, Mid-Day.com reported.
By which time social media was awash with messages condemning the murder, slamming her son.
She reportedly said there were plenty of condolence messages too.
"I have been receiving many calls and messages about this. I am not able to concentrate on work due to this. I am alive, my son has not killed me. Due to these messages, I have stopped receiving work." The actress reportedly told Mid-Day.
Her son Abhishek Chadda reportedly appealed to people not to spread rumours, adding that he love his mother too much and he felt sick at the news and messages on social media.
