Not only marriages but divorces should celebrated, says Ram Gopal Varma

Divorce should be celebrated more than marriage, says renowned Indian filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. He was responding to the news that ace Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao getting divorced.

He wished the couple a colourful life henceforth.

In a tweet, he said that he believes that a divorce should be celebrated more than a marriage because divorce happens out of knowledge and wisdom, while marriages happen out of ignorance and stupidity.

It was recently, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have announced officially their decision to separate. But they had made it clear that they would be there for their son, despite the divorce.

Meanwhile, many had responded to the news with their opinions
