American rapper Post Malone was denied entry into a rooftop bar in Perth, Australia for violating the dress code which prohibits "face, neck, and offensive tattoos." The incident took place in a five-star hotel named the QT Hotel.

On Saturday, he and his team tried to enter the popular rooftop bar of the hotel when a security guard stopped him. He then went to the nearby 18 Knots Rooftop Bar and bought drinks for his fans.

The 27-year-old spoke to the West Australian on Monday and said "They turned me away for my tattoos. I've never really experienced anything like that."

The hotel quickly apologised for the incident and said it was a misunderstanding. "At QT, we aim to welcome everyone and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual. QT has been recognised for this for many years. However, on Saturday night, our third-party security did not exercise the appropriate discretion and we take full responsibility for this. We sincerely apologize to the individuals affected."

The singer is heavily tattooed and has close to a dozen tattoos on his face including the words "Always Tired" under his eyes. A barbed wire is drawn across his hairline and two aces of spade cards are on the corner of his forehead. He also has a thin sword tattoo on his cheek. Above the brow, there is a tattoo "Stay Away".
