Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has come out in support of the struggling theatre industry and has stated that his concern for the "financial problems" that theatre owners are going through has made him decide to release his next film 'Radhe' in theatres.
"In return, I would expect them to take utmost amount of care and precautions for the audience who would come to the theatre to watch Radhe," Khan tweeted from his official account.
The Theatre Exhibitors Association had earlier approached Khan to release a film in theatres as the star's reach amongst the public would be a boost to the industry that has been shut down since the lockdown last year.
'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' is directed by Prabhu Deva and will hit screens on Eid this year. It also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Randeep Hooda and Megha Akash in lead roles.
