New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, set to star in the upcoming film "Yodha," recently shared insights into his involvement in multiple patriotic films and responded to queries about taking on more romantic roles in the future.

Addressing the press during a promotional event in Delhi for the film "Yodha," where the cast and crew engaged in discussions, Sidharth Malhotra responded to questions about his consistent participation in patriotic projects, including movies like "Shershaah," "Mission Majnu," and the OTT series "Indian Police Force."

Sidharth expressed that his inclination towards such roles seemed to have evolved organically, citing his personal appreciation for the allure of a uniform.

He said, "I think nothing looks better on a man than a uniform, whether it be any form of service in the country." Sidharth acknowledged his previous portrayals in military and police uniforms and highlighted the creation of a fictional Yodha unit in the current film, providing a fresh perspective on the uniform.

In response to queries about romantic roles, Sidharth revealed that "Yodha" incorporates a subtle love story element, as hinted in the trailer. However, he clarified that while the character possesses emotional depth, the film doesn't unfold as a complete love story. Sidharth playfully suggested, "But we are right here, promoting a Dharma Productions film, so maybe you should ask Karan Johar when is he making his next romantic film for me to do."

"Yodha," directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, features actresses Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani in significant roles.

The film revolves around a high-stakes hijack scenario and is scheduled for release on March 15, 2024.
