Sonam Kapoor to make a comeback with YRF Talent, signs two projects after career hiatus

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is set to make a grand return to the silver screen and has signed an exclusive contract with YRF Talent, one of the most prestigious boutique agencies in India which is renowned for its knack for creating stars.

YRF takes credit for illustrious names like Rani Mukerji, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Bhumi Pednekar. The agency is likely to focus on shaping Sonam's brand on a global scale. Known for their keen eye for talent, YRF Talent is also managing promising newcomers such as Sharvari and Ahaan Panday, who are poised to become future stars of the Indian film industry.

This is also a milestone for the actress because she is the first actress to be signed by YRF which wasn't initially launched by the agency. Sonam's comeback journey, after a hiatus, will commence with two highly-anticipated projects. The details of which are being kept under wraps for now.

While Sonam is mainly revered for her keen fashion sense, her magnetic presence in films like Neerja, Khoobsurat, and Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga was loved by fans. She has also been using her platform to raise awareness about body image issues and the struggles of the LGBTQ+ community.
