South Indian actor Bala booked for threatening 'Chekuthan'

Kochi: South Indian actor Bala has found himself entangled in a legal dispute after allegedly trespassing into the apartment of popular YouTuber Aju Alex, who is known as 'Chekuthan',
The incident, which occurred in Kochi, saw Bala and three others reportedly enter Alex's apartment while he was absent, and subsequently, threats were made against his friend, Mohammed Abdul Khader.
Khader, the complainant, has accused Bala of not only intruding into the premises but also issuing severe threats if Chekuthan did not remove certain videos related to the actor. The complaint further asserts that Bala created disorder within the apartment and disrupted personal belongings.
However, Bala vehemently denied the allegations. In a bold statement shared on his Facebook page, he refuted the trespassing and threats, clarifying that his reaction was driven by the offensive content and abusive language present in Chekuthan's videos.
To substantiate his stance, Bala released a video showing his visit to the apartment in question.
Police have registered a case against Bala and his companions for criminal intimidation and house trespassing. The Thrikkakara police summoned the actor to appear for questioning at the police station.
