Tunisha Sharma suicide: Ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan breaks down at interrogation

Mumbai: Tunisha Sharma's co-actor and ex-boyfriend Sheezan Khan broke down while the police were interrogating him. He was arrested for allegedly abetting her suicide.
Khan was arrested after Tunisha's mother accused him of dating several girls while he was in a relationship with her. He has denied these allegations and said he broke up with Tunisha for other reasons.
Waliv Police on Tuesday said that Khan has repeatedly changed his statements about the end of his relationship with Tunisha. He has not yet given a clear reason for breaking up with the 20-year-old. Initially, he said that the situation in the country over interfaith relationships prompted him to end the affair. He also cited the age gap and families being opposed to their relationship as reasons for breaking up.
The police have been continuously interrogating Sheezan. An official told NDTV that they are trying to find out about his "secret girlfriend." He added that Khan kept on narrating different theories for breaking with Tunisha. "He broke down when a woman officer questioned him."
The female officer said it is difficult to guess his emotions by looking at his body language and he did not open up. "Whatever inquiry is being done on the basis of the family's allegations. Sheezan has denied the existence of any other girl in his life." The police also said Sheezan behaved normally during the investigation and there is no sadness on his face. "Because he is an actor, he might be trying to make it look like this. Police are probing from every angle."
Tunisha and Sheezan were the leading actors in the show Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul. The actress was found hanging in the washroom on the set of the serial on December 24.
The police are recording the statements of those who were close to Sheezan and Tunisha. So far, statements from 17 people have been recorded. "The statements of all the people who were present during the suicide on the set will be recorded." Officials added that the police haven't yet found anything indicating that the pair had a fight before she committed suicide. This is being claimed to have been the trigger for self-harm.
Police are also trying to retrieve data from the mobile phones of both actors.
