New Delhi: Who can resist shaking legs when a dhol is played?

A viral video on Sunday has a group of youngsters at a college in Britain, cutting across cultures, dancing to the rat-a-tat of the drum.

The footage running viral on TikTok comes from a college cultural fest.

Posted on Twitter by Sunny Hundal, the short clip underlines the importance of cultural sharing amid diverse communities.

At the start of the video a young white student steps into the clearing of a crowd, and starts trying tap dance to the dhol.

His legs blend very much with the pattering sounds, which quickly draw in others too.

Now it's a regular Punjabi bhangra, except that they don't jab the skies with their hands.

The students surrounding the dancer are holding the flags of their countries.

"Modern Britain," reads the sweet caption, according to India Today.

Alongside the reactions that poured in, the video gained more than 2.1 million views and still counting.

A lot of people on social media said how irresistible the sound of dhol could be.

Many others said it was amazing to see students participating in the cultural event.

Music like no other way can unite people from different cultures.
