Kochi: The 75-year-old veteran Malayalam actor Innocent, who has been admitted to a private hospital in Kerala's Ernakulam district after his health deteriorated, is reportedly in critical condition.
Innocent, who has appeared in over 500 movies and was the former president of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA), is reportedly in critical condition.
According to a medical bulletin released by VPS Lakeshore Hospital, he is currently receiving Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support.
The actor was admitted to the hospital three weeks ago due to physical difficulties resulting from his cancer condition. Innocent made his debut in the film "Nrithashala" in 1972.
