Amid the immense success of the Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer', reports had circulated that Vinayakan, who played a significant role in the film, was paid only Rs 35 lakh for his contribution.

However, the actor has now clarified this matter.

Vinayakan addressed these reports in an interview with Sark Live, stating, "Contrary to the rumors, I wasn't paid 35 lakhs for 'Jailer'. I hope the producer isn't hearing this. I received three times that amount. The 35 lakh rumor was the work of certain mischief-makers back home. In any case, I received much more than that. They gave me exactly what I asked for. I was treated like royalty on the sets and was compensated well."

Critics and audiences alike praised Vinayakan for his standout performance in 'Jailer'. The actor expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, saying, "I have never dedicated such a long period of time to any character in my career. 'Jailer' was a great opportunity for me, and I am grateful for it."

Vinayakan also revealed that while filming 'Jailer', he missed the opportunity to work on Dhanush's project 'Captain Miller'.

'Jailer' has become a massive hit, featuring an ensemble cast that includes Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Yogi Babu, and Jackie Shroff.

The film has emerged as one of the highest-grossing films of the year, with Rajinikanth fans flocking to theaters to witness the charisma of their beloved Thalaivar on screen. The success of 'Jailer' has left a lasting impact on the careers of all those involved in the project, as audiences have praised the performances of the actors.
