Colorado: Coral Elise Amayi thought she would have no luck of ever seeing her camera again.

That was 13 years ago when she lost it in a river while rafting in Colorado.

Chances are lost things could return in search of their owners.

And nobody could be more surprised than Amayi herself, reuniting with her camera more than decade after losing it.

Elise Amayi took to Facebook to say ‘someone found the camera I lost in the Animas in 2010’.

The camera was recovered with pictures still intact, according to reports.

Coral Elise Amayi shared a screenshot of a post shared by a fisherman named Spencer Greiner, which asked users to identify people in the photos.

“Someone just found the camera I lost in the Animas in 2010 and they were able to upload the photos and took the time to find the people in the photos!! I freaking love Durango,” she wrote.

Later Amayi shared on Instagram a few images of the camera discovered after 13 years of lying in the river.

People poured out their hearts on Instagram hailing the camera and the fisherman with some saying that ‘Nice to see some good come from social media( and humanity!). Well done, fisherman’.

Another user said ‘Congrats! A beautiful story!’ while a third user said ‘This is such a crazy story! Lol’
