Koffee With Karan season 7's trailer was released on YouTube on Saturday. While host Karan Johar seemed to be in his element and making his guests say spontaneous things, debut guest Samantha Ruth Prabhu was seen blaming KJo for unhappy marriages.
In the trailer, the Oh! Baby actress was heard saying Karan Johar has portrayed life to be KG3 (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham) when in reality, life is KGF. The audience can only speculate she was responding to questions related to her separation from actor Naga Chaitanya.
The Telugu star couple married in 2017 and announced their separation in October 2021. She made her Hindi industry debut with the Amazon Prime Video show The Family Man season 2.
Samantha was seen on the show along with Akshay Kumar who said he does not like Instagram filters. The Samrat Prithviraj, however, ended up incorrectly calling them "fillers". Samantha and Karan Johar were seen thinking that he is referring to a botox treatment.
She is gearing up for her next Bollywood project with Varun Dhawan. The duo is also rumoured to be in the Indian offshoot of the Russo Brothers' Citadel.
Other celebrities that appeared in the trailer are Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vijay Deverakonda, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Pandey, Janhvi Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Kiara Advani, and Kriti Sanon.
The first episode will be released on Hotstar on July 7.
