Independence Day special: Cappella versions of Vande Mataram go viral

As India is all set to celebrate its 69th Independence Day on Saturday, the cyber world is abuzz with patriotic songs, videos and quotes praising the nation. But, these music videos stand out among them.

Adding to the patriotic fervour this Independence day, two music videos have gone viral on the social media networking sites. Young musicians are trying to do something differently with their cappella version of national song Vande Mataram.

A Cappella version of the national song, uploaded on YouTube by 'Bodhi Silent Scape', has been sung by Bijibal and Vipin Lal, along with Soumya Ramakrishnan, Santhi Bijibal, Swetha Menon, Vijay.P.Jacob, Madhu Paul, Jibin Gopal, Justin Varghese, Vysakh Bejoy, Sarath Chandran, Bibin Ashok, Nandhu Kartha and Aby Salvin Thomas.

Another A Cappella version is sung by singers Soumya Sanathanan and Preetha PV.
