Kozhikode: A video of a mahout’s narrow escape as an elephant run amok has gone viral.
The incident happened at Puthiyapalam junction in Kozhikode on Wednesday.
In the video, the tusker can be seen attacking and battering a vehicle against the wall of the Juma Masjid with a mahout precariously perched on top. He can be seen jumping off later and hanging on to a pole for dear life.
The tusker was later brought under control.
