Following a string of attacks against Christians and churches in Uttar Pradesh, a joint fact finding team of APCR (Association for the Protection of Civil Rights), United Against Hate and United Christian Forum recorded 50 incidents of victimisation and attacks on Christians in various parts of the country in the recent past. Recently, a church in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, was attacked by a Hindutva mob of over 200 members on 3rd October 2021. The team visited the vandalised Church and recorded testimonies of victims.

The fact finding report would be released on Thursday in the presence of Vrinda Grover, Sr Advocate Supreme Court, Dr Michael Williams and AC Michael, President and National Coordinator of United Christian Forum. Members of the team who visited Roorkee would also be present, the team informed.
