New Delhi: Around 100 people of African origin on Saturday shocked Delhi police when they stormed a police station in Raju Park area of South Delhi.

The unruly crowd clashed with police and forcefully freed three of them detained by anti-drug force on visa expiration.

A Narcotics Squad team previously caught some criminals of African origin at the Raju Park alongside picking three others whose visas had expired, according to NDTV.

Afterwards, around 100 people of African origin turned up at the police station and attacked the police, alongside freeing from the custody those the police detained.

The police swung into action, catching again one of the three accused identified as Philip.

Soon afterwards four others were picked from the area by a team from the Neb Sarai Police Station and Narcotics Squad

However, the trouble was not yet over when at least 100 African origins came to the station again.

Police had time controlling the situation turning into all-out clash. Reports say police are initiating legal action against those involved.
