Aamir Khan to launch a podcast ahead of the release of Laal Singh Chaddha

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is going all the way to promote his new film 'Laal Singh Chaddha', an adaptation of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump.
Trying an innovative way, the superstar is set to launch a podcast 'Laal Singh Chaddha Ki Kahaniyaa' (stories of Laal Singh Chaddha). The programme is meant to allow the actor to connect and communicate with his audience.
The podcast will be about behind-the-scenes action, anecdotes, music, and intriguing incidents from the set. The first episode of the podcast is expected to stream on the T-Series YouTube channel, Saavn app, and RedFM on May 5.
Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie is slated to release on August 11.
Aamir Khan will be seen opposite Kareen Kapoor Khan in the movie originally written by Eric Roth. The Indian adaptation of the screenplay is written by Atul Kulkarni.
Recently, Aamir Khan made the announcement related to the podcast after building hype for a big announcement for days. He also released the first song of the film but chose to release only audio with the intention of putting the musicians at the centre. The song 'Kahani' has been trending online since and has a growing fanbase.
In a recent interview, Aamir Khan had revealed that his mother's reaction to the early cut of the film meant everything to him. She asked him to not make a single change. He was speaking on RedFM while promoting the soundtrack of the upcoming film. Laal Singh Chaddha is currently being test screened for better guidance at editing.
Laal Singh Chaddha is the official Hindi remake of the Hollywood classic Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. The film has been in the works for a long time and was further delayed by the pandemic.
