New Delhi: Buoyant over his party's win in Gujarat, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal turned the business-end of attack on BJP on Thursday in the Assembly.

Addressing budget session, the Chief Minister accused BJP of "hating" BR Ambedkar as well as aiming at doing away with elections.

He said that BJP's central government was scared of confronting the "small party(AAP)" and alleged the BJP as pressuring the State Election Commission to put off MCD elections, according to Indian Express.

He said that on March 9, the SEC had declared holding the polls in April. Hours later, SEC said it was not in a position to announce the dates.

For, the Centre had written to them, to inform of introducing a Bill to unify the three MCDs, he added.

He ridiculed that BJP would write to EC ten days before the polls to postpone it for unifying Maharashtra and Gujarat. In the next letter they would say parliamentary system is bad. And they are bringing in presidential form of government.

He said the India being a democracy would not tolerate this drama, "nautanki" he said. Kejriwal said BJP was scared of the small party, AAP despite its claims of being the biggest party in India.

He challenged BJP to fight polls if it has guts. It was then he laughed at the claims of " 56 inches ka seena are false".

He further said that BJP hated Ambedkar because he drafted Constitution setting up a democracy. Also, BJP did not want polls and polls according to them are bad, he added.
