Representational.

Hyderabad: Rahul Gandhi danced with tribals in Telangana wearing a tribal as the Congress' Bharat Jodo Yathra reached the state. In Bhadrachalam, he danced with the tribals wearing tribal headgear as he took part in the "Kommu Koya", an ancient tribal dance form, NDTV reported.

Sharing a video of him dancing on Twitter, he wrote, "Our tribals are the repositories of our timeless cultures & diversity. Enjoyed matching steps with the Kommu Koya tribal dancers. Their art expresses their values, which we must learn from and preserve."

Congress started the Bharat Jodo Yatra on September 7 from Kanyakumari. It is scheduled to end in Kashmir in 2023. The journey across the country is the longest march on foot by any politician in India ever, a statement by the Congress claimed.

It covered Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh after starting from Tamil Nadu. It is to enter Maharashtra soon.
