New Delhi: In the aftermath of Sidhu Moosewala's murder, sources in the intelligence agencies alleged that Canada is becoming a safe haven for Khalistani terrorists and gangsters, who are involved in several criminal activities in India.

The sources added that Canada-based gangsters are "controlling crime in India." Officials said Satinderjeet Singh alias Goldy Brar's name came up in the Mossewal murder investigation. But bringing him to India is not easy because the Canadian authorities do not cooperate.

They further said Canada has not taken action despite India submitting documents regarding the presence of the Khalistani elements and gangsters operating in the country.

Speaking about the chief of Khalistan Task Force Hardeep Singh Nijjar, sources said he is currently residing in Canada and promoting the secessionist and violent agenda of 'Sikhs for Justice' in India.

NIA on Friday declared a reward of Rs 10 lakh on his head following the murder of a Hindu priest in Jalandhar last year. Interpol has also issued a red corner notice against Khalistani operative Arshdeep Singh alias Arsh who is linked to Nijjar.

Sources in Indian intelligence agencies said these Khalistani terrorists allegedly gave contracts to kill several people to disrupt communal harmony in India. "They also promised their aides in India Canadian citizenship. They know they are safe in Canada and hence they openly plot terror activities from there."

Another Canada-based Khalistani terrorist, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun is running the Sikhs for Justice movement intending to spread terrorism in India. During the farmers' agitation, he released several videos asking people to attack government buildings including the Red Fort, said the sources.
