Haridwar: Two Dehradun-based cartoonists are being sued for allegedly making indecent and obscene posters of yoga guru Baba Ramdev. The posters went viral on social media. And the Uttarakhand Police registered a case.

Cartoonists Gajendra Rawat and Hemant Malviya are being sued under section 152A over a complaint by the legal cell of Patanjali Yogpeeth, said Mukesh Chauhan, the Kankhal police station in-charge.

They are accused of tarnishing the image of the yoga guru. The police are searching for them.

On the same day, Baba Ramdev's brand Zydus is among the 16 drug companies banned by Nepali authorities after a routine test. "We have found 16 companies not complying with the good manufacturing practices set by WHO. This audit was conducted by the Nepalese drug authorities in the current fiscal year," said the department.
