Delhi: Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on Monday termed the BJP's sting operation video that accused him of corruption a 'joke'.

Sisodia alleged that a CBI officer was pressured to frame him in a trumped up case, according to the Indian Express.

Revealing further he said that the officer died by suicide as he could not any more take in mental pressure.

Sisodia added that after the CBI has nearly given him a clean chit, BJP conducted a sting operation as it could not find anything against him.

That is a sting? This is a joke, Sisodia lampooned, adding that BJP made someone sit in the car on the road and asked him some questions.

Sisodia said he also has many such videos and is ready to run them as well.

BJP , he said, kept saying about a scam, quoting numbers like Rs 30 crore, rs 144 crore. Afterwards BJP had CBI file an FIR, and raided his house, searched his locker and they didn't find anything, he added.

Sisodia appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to trap him in a wrong case, and arrest him but not to pressurise officers and leave them to die by suicide.

Sisodia also said that the officer he was referring to was Jitendra Kumar, a legal advisor in CBI's anti-corruption branch.
