However, active cases have declined to 99,974, a 0.29 per cent of the total infections. This is also the lowest since March 2020. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.35 per cent.

The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.69 per cent. This has been less than 2 per cent for the past 61 days. The weekly positivity rate stands at 0.81 per cent; this has been below 1 per cent for the past 20 days.

Meanwhile, the number of covid vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed 126.53 crores.
