New Delhi: Unleashing an attack on the Delhi-Aam Aadmi Party government on Saturday, union Minister Anurag Thakur said that the Kejriwal government in the national capital is the Centre of corruption. He added that the BJP would expose them soon, Asian News International reported.

He then claimed that from his campaigning for the corporation elections in Delhi, he learnt that the “Kejriwal magic” has reduced among people. He claimed that this was evident from the poll results where the AAP gathered a very negligible majority. In BJP’s new resolution, the developmental works done by the BJP government in the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be taken to the public, and victory will be BJP’s in the 2024 general elections as well as polls in 2025, the minister claimed.

He further claimed that the Modi government had provided developments worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore in Delhi in the past eight years, which includes road infrastructure and fighting pollution. The Yamuna River Front development work carried out under the guidance of the central government, the DDA and the Lieutenant Governor should reach the public. Lt Governor’s work turned it into a tourist attraction, Thakur claimed.

He alleged that the Delhi government made the Yamuna river dirtier in the last eight years while the Centre is getting the riverfront developed.

The minister went on with his claims that the Centre provided 150 electric buses to Delhi to combat the air pollution there under the FAME scheme. Since the pandemic broke out, the Centre has been providing free rations to migrants and more than 60 lakh poor families in the national capital, while the AAP government can’t even provide that is a pity, the union minister said.
