'Fire once lit will not be doused': Raut warns Shiv Sena rebels

Mumbai: The crisis in Maharashtra continues with one faction of ruling Shiv Sena tries to talk down the other every day since the crisis began.
MP Sanjay Raut of Shiv Sena most recently on Sunday said rebel lawmakers' souls are all dead and only their bodies will return to Mumbai.
Raut said when the lawmakers come out of Guwahati they will not be alive at heart and he added that the lawmakers will know what can happen in the fire being lit now.
His symbolic statements apart, Sanjay Raut on Saturday warned rebels of having to face Shiv Sainiks on the streets.
He added that Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray wouldn't resign and that the Sena would fight till the end, according to India Today.
Amid reports of vandalism in places in Maharashtra Raut told India Today that fire once lit would not be doused and Shiv Sena would fight till the end.
In the meantime Shiv Sena's minister of higher and technical education Uday Samant has sneaked out of Maharashtra and is on his way to Guwahati from Surat.
Other ministers previously to switch over to rebel camp include Gulabrao Patil, Dada Bhuse, Sandipan Bhumre, and ministers of state Shamburaje Desai and Abdul Sattar.
The Centre has accorded Y-plus security to 15 rebel Sena MLAs after Shiv Sena workers vandalised their offices and properties. However, Eknath Shinde, who is leading the rebellion, is not included in the list, India Today said.
