Gurugram: Various Hindu outfits in Haryana held a protest defending the killing of Junaid and Nasir, calling them cow slaughters while demanding the release of Monu Manesar and other cow vigilantes imprisoned in connection with the abduction and killing of them.

Holding placards and chanting slogans, the protesters submitted a memorandum to top government officials, urging the President, Prime Minister, and Home Minister intervention.

Accusing MLA Mamman Khan and calling for the dismissal of Nuh's SP, the demonstrators alleged that Monu Manesar was unjustly framed and insisted on an impartial investigation by the NIA or CBI, expressing distrust in the ongoing police probe.

The memorandum stated, "Junaid and Nasir were cow slaughters, but now cow vigilantes are being defamed." It also highlighted the purported framing of individuals like Monu Rana, Rainku Saini, Gogi, and Monu by the Rajasthan Police.

Monu Manesar, a Bajrang Dal activist, is currently incarcerated at the Ajmer high-security jail in connection to the tragic incident where the charred bodies of Nasir and Junaid were discovered on the Rajasthan-Haryana border, following allegations of cow smuggling.

The Hindu community threatened a massive movement if their demands for an independent CBI or NIA investigation were not met.
