Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan who is getting Y+ category security following umpteen death threats told a TV show that ‘security is better than insecurity’.

Appearing on India TV's show 'Aap ki Adalat' Salaman Khan shared what it is like to be living under heavy security after becoming a target of gangsters, as well as receiving faux threats from random persons.

‘Yes security is there. Now it is not possible to ride a bicycle on the road and go alone anywhere. And more than that, now I have this problem that when I am in traffic, then there is so much security, vehicles creating inconvenience to other people. They also give me a look. And my poor fans. There is a serious threat that's why there is security,’ The 'Tiger Zinda Hai' actor, news agency ANI reported.

Salman, admitting to be going everywhere with full security, said that whatever was to happen would happen, adding that ‘so many guns are going around with me that I am myself scared these days.’

Only days ago Mumbai police arrested a minor on charges of threatening to kill Salman Khan on April 30, calling up Mumbai Police control room on April 10 identifying himself as Rockey Bhai from Jodhpur Rajasthan.

Another person from Jodhpur district’s Luni, identified as Dhakad Ram, was arrested for sending a threat mail to Salman Khan, saying that the actor will die like Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Dhakad Ram was arrestd in a joint operation by Mumbai Police and Luni police teams, an officer at Luni police station of Jodhpur told ANI earlier.
