Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Actor Rajnikanth’s daughter Aishwarya complained to the police that diamond and jewellery have been stolen from her residence.

In her complaint filed on February 27, the veteran actor’s daughter said that ‘multiple pieces of valuable jewellery…in my locker’ were stolen which she came to find on February 10.

Aishwarya reportedly said that she suspected three of her household staff including a driver and two maids were behind the theft.

The filmmaker reportedly said she used the jewellery, kept in her locker, at her younger sister’s wedding in 2019.

The locker, which had been shifted to three places since the wedding, was at her St Mary's Road apartment till August 2021.

Afterwards, it was taken to her residence in CIT Colony, where she lived with actor Dhanush after marriage, according to NDTV.

In September 2021, the locker was removed again to the St Mary's Road apartment, before being taken to Rajinikanth's Poes Garden residence.

Aishwarya alleged that her personal staff members were aware of the locker keys kept in her personal steel cupboard at St Mary's Road apartment.

Her complaint said that when she opened the locker on February 10 she was shocked to find out her valuable ornaments were missing.

She has since been searching vainly for the ornaments, and added that she accumulated all of them over the last 18 years since her marriage.

The stolen jewels according to her include ‘Diamond sets, uncut diamond in temple jewellery, antique gold pieces, Navarathnam sets’ among others.

The complaint put the total value of the stolen jewels at ₹ 3,60,000.
