As 'Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi' crosses the 2-year mark, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has announced that she is once again stepping into the role of director for its sequel 'Legend of Didda'.

"The sequel will be shot with most of the original cast," revealed Kangana in an interview to the Times of India. The story is based on Didda, the legendary Kashmiri queen and one of the few female monarchs in Indian history.

"I will try and keep myself as the director unless I find someone better than me for this job," the actress said. She went on to reveal that she would also be juggling this along with other projects like 'Aparajita Ayodhya' while 'Legend of Didda' would go on floors next year.

Currently Kangana has A.L. Vijay's 'Thalaivi', Razneesh Ghai's spy thriller 'Dhaakad' and Sarvesh Mewara's 'Tejqs' in her line up.
