Karnataka woman arrested for the murder of adopted son

Karnataka: A woman in the Bagalkot district has been arrested for getting her adopted son killed with the help of her sons-in-law and lover. The victim was 24 years old.
The police have arrested four people Kamalavva, her sons-in-law Sindhoora Beeranna and Bheemappa Malali, and the woman's lover and Beeranna's father, Ninganna in connection with the murder.
Kamalavva filed a missing person report a month ago saying her adopted son Vasantha Malingappa Kuruballi has disappeared. Police later found his decomposed body in a gunny bag. The involvement of the woman was revealed in interrogation.
Vasantha questioned his mother's affair with the father of her son-in-law and asked for his share in the property. In retaliation, Kamalavva smashed the victim's chest with a boulder and smothered him to death. The culprits also damaged his private part.
