Srinagar: A little girl from Kashmir appearing in a video surfaced on social media where she dons a reporter and showing the terrible state of roads near her house gathered enormous attention of netizens, and many praised her coverage, PTI reported.

The identity of the girl or the area filmed in the 2:08 mins long footage has not been immediately identified.

In the video, the girl was complaining about the condition of the road, and because of its terrible state, guests could not come to her home. The video is believed to have been filmed on a mobile phone, and the girl addresses the camera person as "mom", which could be heard when she directs the camera towards potholes in the road.

PTI reports the valley experienced heavy rain and snow. The girl narrates how the extreme weather patterns worsen the condition, walking around and showing. She notes people are dumping trash on roads and shouts that the place has become dirty.

The video ends with her asking viewers to Like, Share and Subscribe, and a promise to meet in the next video. It went viral after gathering many shares on Twitter and over one lakh views.

The video is not the first in which children appeal to Kashmir Valley authorities. A 1:11 video of a six-year-old little girl appeared last year in which she asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to cap the duration of online classes.

That video had prompted the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to direct the School Education Department to formulate a policy, in 48 hours, to ease school students' homework burden.
