Man gets beaten by four with iron rods over personal rivalry

Faridabad/Haryana: Police informed that four men brutally attacked a man with iron roads in Huda market near Kheripul on Thursday. Police said that the attack was over personal rivalry, PTI reported. PTI has accessed a video of the gruesome incident.

Police identified the victim as Tausim alias Vaseem of Mawai village under the Kheripul police circle. Vaseem is under treatment in a private hospital, and an FIR has been registered at the old Faridabad police station. One of the assaulters, Sahil, has been arrested, who had revealed names of other two as Nikki and Arjun. Police added that they are searching for the others while an

SHO of Faridabad's old police station, Inspector Dinesh Kumar, said that they are conducting raids and the rest will be arrested soon.

Vaseem was stopped by the accused four on Thursday, late in the evening. In disturbing footage that PTI accessed, the accused four were beating Vaseem with iron rods while the latter was on the floor, struggling in pain. The assaulters intended to break Vaseem's legs.

People gathered there caught one of the fleeing attackers, Sahil, while police were informed. Vaseem is still not fit for his statement.

Vaseem's mother, Shabnam, told PTI that she didn't know why her son was assaulted. Her son is still unconscious, and she wants him to get well soon.
