New Delhi: Police informed that unknown persons attacked All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi's residence here, throwing stones at the building and damaging windows on Sunday evening, Asian News International.

They said that Owaisi approached Parliament Street Police Station and lodged a complaint alleging that miscreants appeared before his house, threw stones at the building and damaged windows.

The incident, according to the complaint, happened at 5:30 pm on Sunday in the Ashoka Road area. After the incident, a team of Delhi police and an Additional DCP reached Owaisi's house and collected evidence.

Owaisi said that he reached his residence at 11:30 pm that night and found broken glass windows and stones or rocks lying around. His domestic help told him that a group of miscreants threw stones at the building around 5:30 pm, he alleged.

According to the AMIMI chief, the attack was the fourth of the kind at his residence.

ANI quoted his complaint, "This is the fourth time such an attack has taken place. The area surrounding my house has enough CCTV cameras, and the same may be accessed, and the culprits should be apprehended immediately."

He pointed out that these acts of vandalism were happening in an area which is a high-security zone. He called for immediate action and the arrest of the culprits.
