The teaser of Modern Love: Hyderabad, the Telugu version of the popular anthology series Modern Love, is out. Similar to its predecessors, the short video is already garnering love from the audience.

The Amazon Prime Video title is inspired by a series of personal essays published in The New York Times. The trademark of the show is authentic and unconventional love stories set in cities that are melting pots of cultures. The Hyderabad edition does not seem to deviate from the tone.

The teaser provides a glimpse of the vibrant energy that comes with all soothing romantic comedies. As expected, characters from various cultural and religious backgrounds are seen in the short films.

The city seems to be a character in itself with shots that define its contemporary tone set against architectural marvels dating back to the Mughal era. While the glittering buildings of Hyderabad dominated the teaser, the not-so-glamorous yet charming side of the city is also given screentime.

The cast may be the most promising part of the show. The audience saw Revathy, Nithya Menen, Malavika Nair, Aadhi Pinisetty, Ritu Varma, Abijeet Duddala, Suhasini Maniratnam, Ulka Gupta, Naresh Agastya, and Komalee Prasad in the teaser. Nagesh Kukunoor, Venkatesh Maha, Uday Gurrala and Devika Bahudhanam are at the helm of the short films.

The series is set to premiere on July 8.
