Mrunal Thakur to star opposite Dulquer Salman in Telugu flick

Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur is reputed to be making her South Indian film debut in the untitled Dulquer Salman starrer with Hanu Raghavapudi. The film is being made in three languages and is a military period drama with Dulquer Salman playing the lead character "Lieutenant Ram".

The film is being produced by iconic Vyjayanthi Films and Swapna Cinema's and was announced on the occasion of Dulquer's birthday last year. They have previously worked with Dulquer on 'Mahanati'. It was earlier rumoured that Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna would be working with the Malayalam star on the project but Mandanna was confirmed to have opted out of the project.

Vishal Chandrashekhar has been roped in to compose the music of the film as official casting announcements are awaited.
