NCP demands probe into collusion between BJP and NCB in drug bust case involving Aryan Khan

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is being questioned over the presence of a BJP worker and a self-styled detective during the alleged drug bust on a cruise ship. The NCB had arrested 16 people including Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan.
Bhanushali was seen holding the hand of Arbaz Merchant, one of the accused, and leading him into the NCB office. The BJP worker Manish Bhanushali told The Indian Express that he had tipped off the NCB about "certain passengers'' carrying drugs on the ship that led to Saturday's raid.
Self-styled detective K.P. Gosavi was seen taking Aryan Khan into the office. He is facing a forgery case in Pune. He also posted a selfie with Aryan Khan on the day of the raid.
Maharashtra's ruling coalition partner NCP has called for a "high-level inquiry" into the "collusion of NCB and BJP" in the high-profile case. NCP has questioned why these two were allowed to play the role of law enforcement officers, reported The Indian Express.
NCP spokesperson and Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik questioned if Gosavi is not an NCB official, what he was doing inside the NCB office with Khan.
Malik alleged that the NCB is being used by the BJP to defame people. "It is being used to conduct raids against people who are against the party, and this entire episode is a scam," he added.
NCB Deputy DG Gyaneshwar Singh told Gosavi and Bhanushali were "among 10 independent witnesses who were used as panchas in the panchnamas". Officials said that they did not know Gosavi and Bhanushali before the raid.
Maharashtra BJP chief spokesperson Keshav Upadhye asked whether NCP want to support Aryan Khan or if there is any other motive? He stated that the "question here is whether he (Malik) wants to support the fight against drugs or oppose it. We need to support the NCB's fight against drugs."
