Choreographer Ganesh Acharya said there is immense talent in India but one needs to look hard enough to find these hidden gems. He is all set to release his directorial venture 'Dehati Disco'.

The movie is based on the struggles two dancers Bhola and Bheema go through to establish a prominent place for Indian dance in their village of Shivpur. Acharya himself plays one of the leads.

The 51-year-old choreographer worked with director Manoj Sharma to write the film. The duo was set on introducing fresh faces to their project. Acharya's onscreen son, Bheema and the antagonist of the movie Jack are played by newcomers. "When I saw him dancing, I knew he would be perfect to play my on-screen son as I could find a replica of Mini Ganesh in him," said Acharya about his co-actor.

Speaking about the search for new actors, he said there is immense talent in India but filmmakers will have to look hard. "I have also struggled in my younger years and was given an opportunity that has made me the Ganesh Acharya that I am today. This is my way of giving Bollywood back what it gave me over all these years," said the veteran choreographer.

The movie is the debut project of Sahil Khan. 'Super Dancer: Chapter 3' finalist Saksham Sharma also plays a key role. It will hit the screens on May 27.

Ganesh Acharya started working in the film industry as an assistant to the late famous choreographer Kamalji. He became an independent choreographer at the age of 19 and worked on over hundred films since then.
