Minister of Hajj and Umrah His Excellency Dr Tawfig AlRabiah visits the Nusuk Roadshow in Mumbai

Mumbai: In a ground-breaking initiative, the integrated Saudi government platform ‘Nusuk’ recently concluded its first-ever roadshow in India, spearheaded by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah His Excellency Dr Tawfig Al-Rabiah.

The event, aimed at fostering collaboration with Indian partners, showcased Nusuk's commitment to providing a seamless Umrah experience and promoting Saudi tourism.

The roadshow, attended by over 1000 representatives from India and Saudi Arabia, focused on addressing challenges and encouraging collaboration with key travel and Umrah companies in India. With a keen eye on Saudi Vision 2030, the event explored trade opportunities, offering incentives to the private sector to contribute to a smooth and enhanced pilgrimage experience.

Featuring booths from Saudi service providers, the exhibition presented Nusuk's extensive services, including valuable information, streamlined visa processes, and accommodation and flight arrangements. The platform's comprehensive approach aims to facilitate increased visits to Makkah, Madinah, and various iconic Saudi destinations.

Fahd Hamidaddin, Managing Director of Nusuk and CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority emphasized India's significance as a crucial market, with an expected 7.5 million Indian visitors to Saudi by 2030. He highlighted the success of the roadshow, calling it a "resounding success" and expressing enthusiasm about deepening ties with Indian trade partners.

Alhasan Aldabbagh, Nusuk President of APAC Markets, outlined Nusuk's efforts to enhance accessibility for Indian travellers, simplifying the journey with an expedited visa process and extended Umrah visa duration. The platform also offers e-visa services for holders of UK, US, and Schengen visas, as well as a 96-hour Stopover visa.

India, holding the third spot in visit numbers this year with 1.2 million visits, sees Saudi Arabia's commitment to easing travel processes for Indian visitors. Nusuk, the facilitating platform for all services, continues to shape Saudi's tourism sector and foster collaborations to offer unique Umrah experiences.

As Saudi Arabia extends a warm invitation to Indian travellers to explore its rich culture and heritage beyond Makkah and Madinah, the success of the Nusuk India Roadshow marks a significant stride towards a mutually beneficial partnership in the realms of pilgrimage and tourism.
