Parivaarwadis Have Turned Negative Into Their Political Ideology: PM Modi

Varanasi: PM Narendra Modi went after the opposition parties on Saturday, saying that "blind opposition, continuous opposition, acute frustration and negativity" have become the political ideology of the Parivaarwadis.

Furthermore, he insisted that the people of Uttar Pradesh do not want 'Parivaarwadis' and expressed his confidence that the BJP will form government there.

"This is my last public meeting in this election. Uttar Pradesh may not have seen such an election in decades as the government sought votes on its work, on its honest image, on development without discrimination and favouritism, and on the strength of improved law and order," Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the following remarks at a campaign rally in Khajuri Village, Varanasi.

"People of Uttar Pradesh don't want 'Parivaarwadis'. BJP will form govt in UP. The people of Uttar Pradesh have completely rejected the Parivaarwadis, who have given the state hooliganism, mischief, mafia, corruption, and encroachers," he observed.

On the one hand, it is the welfare of every citizen in Uttar Pradesh that is being derived from the double engine government, and on the other hand, it is the false promises made by the 'Parivaarwadis', Modi stated.

"This third decade of the 21st century has brought new challenges, unprecedented crisis for the whole world but India has decided that we will turn this unprecedented crisis and challenges into opportunities. This resolution is not only mine, not only of the government, but it is also of 130 crore citizens of India," he added.

PM Modi complained that opposition parties are still playing politics despite the Ukrainian crisis. He said that when challenges face a nation, these dynastic families look for political opportunities.

"One of the strengths of our villages is that when crisis arises, everyone forgets their grievances and unites. But when some challenges crop up before the nation, these dynasts look for their political interest in this too. If India's security forces and people fight a crisis, they do everything to make the situation more critical. We saw this during pandemic and today during Ukraine crisis," Modi commented.

According to the Prime Minister, over 80 crore poor, Dalits, backward and tribal people have received free rations for the past two years.

Despite the amazement of the world, he said, "I am happy that the poor are also happy.".

In addition, he stated that since the Swachh Bharat Mission started, the BJP government has built more than 10 crore toilets primarily for the benefit of sisters from economically backward, Dalit, and rural communities.

"Those who live in palaces don't know the troubles that a poor mother goes through in absence of a toilet at home. They have to either think of answering nature's call before sunrise or bear the pain throughout the day and do so only after sunset," stated the PM.

PM Modi took a shot at the Congress, saying the party, which for years got political mileage from Khadi, now abhors even taking its name. According to him, the BJP government has turned Khadi and yoga into international brands.

In addition to being annoyed by Vocal for Local, he said, dynamic politicians avoid taking the name of yoga which is increasingly popular all over the world.

"Have you ever heard from them saying that buy things made in our country, to use things made in our country, or to promote things made in the country? If they were your friends, wouldn't they have spoken to sell the products made by you or not? But they keep their mouth shut," he added.

After March 10, he said, the work of granting gas connections to the poor would be accelerated.

As a top priority of the double engine government in the past, PM Modi said that safety and security of daughters and sisters will remain paramount.

Mothers and sisters have protected him in every corner of India during these elections, he remarked.

Additionally, he expressed gratitude to the Uttar Pradesh Police for conducting the election in a peaceful manner.

During the final phase of the state assembly elections, his Parliamentary constituency will go to the polls. Modi has been camping in Varanasi for the last two days. This Friday evening is the last day for campaigning for the seventh phase of voting.

On March 7, elections will be held in 54 Assembly seats in nine districts, including Azamgarh, Mau, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Bhadohi and Sonbhadra.
