New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, whose ruling AAP is trying to oust the BJP from civic administration, alleged foul play on voter list.

Voting for Delhi civic bodies is progressing in 250 wards to decide chances of 1,349 candidates.

Over 1.45 crore people are eligible to cast their votes in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) election, according to India Today.

Alleging conspiracy, Manish Sisodia said that people complained about their names not being on the voter list.

"People are angry about their names not on voter list. I am going to complain to EC against conspiracy," the Delhi Deputy CM reportedly said.

While heading to vote earlier in the day, Sisodia urged people to vote in record numbers promising to make the city clean and beautiful.

"I request all the 1.5 crore voters to keep this in mind while voting that the main responsibility of the MCD is to keep Delhi clean, sanitation issues, landfill, corruption, parking mess, stray animals and to build schools and hospitals among others," Sisodia reportedly said.

The votes will be counted on December 7, and 1,349 candidates are contesting the election.

Polls in Delhi and Gujarat saw the AAP and the BJP conducting high voltage campaign to outwit each other.

These polls appear to be crucial as both the parties are looking forward to win the Lok Sabha polls in near future.
