Hyderabad: AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his alleged silence on China's aggression saying that the PM did not use 'Chini' (Sugar) in his tea in fear of uttering the word China.

While addressing a gathering in Hyderabad, he said the Prime Minister is silent on two things that are skyrocketing fuel prices in the country and the Chinese aggression. But the PM will be the first to comment if Pakistan does something, Owaisi added.

Owaisi also targeted PM Modi for allowing the Indian cricket team to play T20 matches with Pakistan at a time when "Islamabad continues to play T20 with the lives of Indians in Kashmir". "When our soldiers died in Jammu and Kashmir, we were playing a T20 cricket match with Pakistan," he said.

Calling Union Home Minister Amit Shah's response to militant attacks on migrant workers cold, Owaisi said Shah did nothing while weapons, terrorists are being imported from other side of the border.

On the promises made by the Modi government to bring changes in J&K, Owaisi claimed that the abrogation of Article 370 has not changed the situation in the Union Territory.
