Vikas Kumar, a resident of Sikandrabad in Bulandshahr district, introduced himself as Rashid Khan to the reporter who sought his response on the sensational murder case. Kumar downplayed the bruteness of the murder by commenting such murders are common out of rage.
He also said people do brutish murders when they were in a rage.
"Vikas has a criminal record, with cases registered against him in Bulandshahr and Noida relating to theft and carrying illegal arms," Bulandshahr Senior Superintendent of Police Shlok Kumar said.
Upon his arrest, Kumar lamented he was unaware that things would go out of hand otherwise he would have not commented on it.
Aaftab had undergone the first session of the polygraph test, also known as the lie detector test, on Tuesday. He will now be subjected to a narco-analysis test as the police look for more evidence and establish the motive.
