'Punjab CM failed in his duty do provide security to Modi' - Panneerselvam

Panneerselvam, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and Coordinator of the AIADMK, condemned the Congress government in Punjab on Thursday for failing to provide security to Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit.
Charanjit Singh Channi has failed in his duty as Punjab Chief Minister and so has his government, Panneerselvam said in a statement.
According to Panneerselvam, the Punjab Government had not only failed but also disrespected freedom fighters as Modi was unable to pay his respects to the freedom fighters memorial.
Pannerselvam described the Punjab government's lack of security for Modi during his visit as well as disrespect for freedom fighters.
In response to the development, Ashoka University asserted that the case of cheating had nothing to do with the university. An investigation is taking place under the supervision of senior officials.
