Mumbai: The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, who is known for being vocal against the BJP, took a dig at the recent debate over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s degree, and said that the degree certificate of PM Modi in Entire Political Science should be displayed in the new Parliament building, calling the degree historic and revolutionary.

“Some ppl r calling Hon.PM’s Degree a fake. I sincerely believe that the Degree in #EntirePoliticalScience is historical & revolutionary! Hence it shd be displayed at the Grand entrance of our new Parliament building, so tht people stop raising doubts about it,” he tweeted on Monday.

While speaking to the media about the ongoing communal riots in the country, Raut said that it is known who is behind the riots and what the motive behind them is. He added that there is a wing in the BJP trying to create communal violence until the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are over.

He said, "It is common knowledge who the rioters are and who is behind the communal violence happening in the country. The recent riots in Hubli and Howrah and Maharashtra were all sponsored by them. The Bharatiya Janata Party has formed a new wing with the aim of creating riots, which seems to be their policy to disrupt the country before the 2024 elections. They believe that they can either face the elections in such an environment or postpone them."

Raut alleged that the BJP is sponsoring the riots in Bengal and everywhere else targeting the Lok Sabha elections, and in states where elections are due or in states where the opposition party is in power.

Sanjay Raut claimed that the violence in Bengal is sponsored by the BJP and is aimed at winning specific seats in the Lok Sabha elections. He argued that such violence is frequently instigated, particularly in states where elections are being held or the BJP is not in power.

He further added that the BJP is creating riots in Maharashtra due to the fear of losing power in the Lok Sabha elections.
